The article gave her an idea: Why not make some of these prom dresses for a mission trip to Mexico that was being planned by the youth group at her church, Peninsula Christian Fellowship? The youth group travelers had to raise their own money for the trip, and one young lady was struggling with her fundraising because of limited resources.
