And its probably rarer still to arrest the suspect staggering out of a drugstore carryingcheap golf clubs a bottle of whiskey and a scarecrow. But thats what police in northwestern Indiana say happened this week in the town of Chesterton. Jacqueline Hamilton, 59, was charged with public intoxication outside the CVS at Route 49 and CR 1100N about 7 p.m. Callaway X-22 Irons LeftyWednesday, according to a police report. Police were called after a motorist reported an intoxicated woman on a golf cart weaving between lanes with no lights on, the report said. Police said they arrived to find Hamilton walking out of the store with a large scarecrow and a bottle of Canadian Mist. The woman had a hard time walking and slurred her words, police said, telling officers she was buying Halloween decorations for her grandchildren and planned to Callaway Diablo Octane Tour Fairwayreturn home and drink the whiskey by the fire. Officers noticed a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and said Hamilton needed assistance in standing while talking Callaway Diablo Edge Driverwith them. Hamilton initially said shed only had a few drinks, but when asked again, said shed had about 10, the report said. Hamilton was given a portable breath test, and a poor sample showed a blood alcohol level of 0.093 percent, the report said.
